Artist Statement
"I create abstract art inspired by urban architecture, using oils and acrylics with a lot of texture to emulate the Mexican albañilería construction craft from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. My work aims to evoke deep thought and connection in modern living spaces.
I like to convey visually abstractions of architectural lines and the inner stories that happen between the walls. Passion, love, disappointments, and successes emerge in balanced compositions that reflect both my emotions and the viewer's lived experience."
Testimonials
-
"Raymundo's work brings a visual intensity into my home. —it feels like he’s painting the emotional blueprint of urban life. —Carla M., Architect
-
"I was drawn to the emotional honesty in Raymundo's abstract work. The way he builds structure and story through texture is unlike anything I've seen. —Jonathan R., Collector
-
"There’s something deeply human in Raymundo’s art. The mix of construction craft and emotional depth creates a tension—like the artwork is floating in space. —Elena S., Interior Designer
